Overview
The Federated Research Data Steward Program (FReDS) is now officially launched and live!
Current CLARITY analysts with access to UCSF’s electronic medical records are required to enroll in the FReDS program to extract clinical data for scientific research and support researchers within their own departments. This program ensures compliance with UCSF policies while streamlining the data extraction process to meet growing research demands.
Offerings
What is FReDS?
Academic Research Services extends access to data for scientific research beyond ARS’ centralized Clinical Data Research Consultation through the Federated Research Data Steward Program (FReDS). The FReDS program guides analysts in extracting, delivering, and sharing UCSF data. This program provides training, support, and oversight to ensure each data request is compliant with UCSF policies and regulatory standards.
